Our story

Our story is in the name of the website – From Match to Matrimony!

After “meeting” on Match, we agreed to a first date at Ale Emporium. The night quickly took a turn to the disaster zone when Michelle got sick (from tainted amaretto) after 3 sips of an Amaretto Sour. Jeff thought it might be an escape ploy – not at all!

The 2nd date was to a Gary Allan concert. We quickly bonded over our love for music. We attended 30 some concerts in 2024 and mixed in many baseball, basketball and football games. We traveled to some fun cities. We made the most of 2024, that’s for certain. We have shared many wonderful memories in a short time.

We are looking forward to the next chapters of life – together! Our homestead is called Emjay’s – M for Michelle and J for Jeff. Jeff’s bachelor pad was known for “Cecil’s Bar & Grill”. While many were sad to see it go, we are hopeful that we will continue on traditions for many years at Emjay’s.
